OUR STORY

We bring Berlin's creative vision alive

Founded in 1991, Kunst has been a space for radical ideas, meaningful encounters, and the art that defines our era.

MISSION

Art that challenges, heals, and unites

Kunst was founded on a simple belief: that great art should be accessible to everyone. Over three decades, we have grown from a small gallery in Prenzlauer Berg into one of Europe's most celebrated contemporary art institutions. We believe culture is not a luxury but a necessity. Every exhibition, every education programme, every artist residency we support is an act of conviction — that the world is better with art in it.
