Education Deep Dive

Early Years (Ages 3–7) — Art Explorers

Our Art Explorers programme introduces the youngest visitors to colour, texture, and storytelling through playful, hands-on sessions led by specialist early-years educators. Sessions run every weekend at 10:30am and 2pm.

Schools (Ages 8–18) — Curriculum-Linked Visits

School visits align with the national curriculum for art, design, history, and cultural studies. Three formats: gallery trails (90 min), artist workshops (half day), and residency programmes (full week). All materials free. Transport subsidies available.

Adults — Studio Practice

Six-week courses taught by professional artists in life drawing, printmaking, oil painting, digital illustration, ceramics, and photography. Three terms per year: September, January, and April. Maximum 12 participants per course.

Community Outreach — Art for All

Kunst partners with hospitals, care homes, refugee centres, and community groups across Berlin. Our outreach artists deliver 200+ sessions per year reaching over 3,000 participants. All sessions are free, funded by the Kunst Foundation.

Research & Residencies — The Kunst Lab

The Kunst Lab hosts six artists per year in a 12-week residency with dedicated studio, €5,000 materials budget, curator mentorship, and a public presentation at residency end. Applications open each February.
